Our Trustees

Jonson Cox
Founder Trustee

Jonson’s career has been largely dedicated to public service businesses and organisations with a strong environmental focus. He was a founder member of the Prince of Wales Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change. He’s given much of his life to the water industry. His interests in the environment, the use of the land and social enterprise stem from growing up on the Dartington estate in Devon, and from a career in environmental businesses.

Professor Joanna Price
Trustee

Jo qualified as a vet and has spent most of her career in academia. She is an emeritus Professor at the Royal Agricultural University where she was previously Vice-Chancellor and has several non-executive roles. Her interests are in the transformative power of education, science and innovation to improve the health and wellbeing of people and animals and the land and ecosystems they depend upon.

Eleanor Beaudry
Trustee

Eleanor Beaudry is a Governance Adviser at the Department for International Development within FCDO, currently on assignment in Malawi. She has degrees from Oxford and SOAS and has previously gained experience in overseeing development aid projects in Pakistan and elsewhere as a consultant.

Eleanor (Mattie) Cox
Trustee

Eleanor (Mattie) graduated in 2018 from the London School of Economics and now works part-time at Defra and as a part-time PhD student at the LSE. She’s travelled to southern and eastern Africa many times in the last decade and has a strong interest in the continent, particularly Mozambique. She’s  passionate about the oceans.

Joey Innes-Hopkins
Secretary to the Foundation

Joey is an experienced Executive Assistant, currently employed at the Port of London Authority and working part-time with The Chacegrove Family Foundation. Having rowed in locations across the UK and abroad, she has a strong appreciation for water, rivers and the environment and is pleased to be supporting the trustees with their work.
